Hampton R. Olfus, Jr. a Washington, D.C. native creates works of art that are influenced by many artistic styles. Olfus works in a variety of media. He studied art at Prince George's Community College, in Largo, Maryland. After leaving college he immersed himself in the Metro D.C. area’s art scene. Hampton has exhibited his art nationally and internationally. Hampton his been involved with many art organizations, within the public and private sectors. I have an eclectic aesthetics that I bring with me into the studio. I choose to follow my gut, when I create art. My true emotions in the studio, is what I aspire to transfer through the media.
